    NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone-  Nigeria’s major edifice firm -Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has been immersed with multiple honors for outstanding performance across all areas of its industry operations in Nigeria. According to a press statement by the media unit of the construction company published on December 24th, 2020 announced the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) lent Julius Berger the “Best in Training Contribution for 2020” award in credit and affection of the corporation’s core objectives, including development, training, and innovation of its employees.

    The assertion explained, the regulatory Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON) also honored Julius Berger with its “Distinguished Production Quality” 2020 award. Furthermore, the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital respected the engineering construction giant with the “Distinguished Corporate Social Responsibility”
    award for Julius Berger’s contributions to the hospital’s development.

    Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, particularly since the disruptive and hazardous inception of the deadly COVID-19, has helped the hospital with an ambulance vehicle as well as huge amounts of hospital beds and other safety urgencies.

    The award was given to the company at the UATH 2020 Awards Day which clenched at the inferences of the hospital in Gwagwalada Abuja. In his speech, the Chief Medical Director, UATH – Prof. Bissalla Ekele stated, when the FCT listed her first outbreak of COVID-19 after the index case in Lagos, the first patient was admitted at UATH (the first
    and only Hospital then in FCT with the capacity to manage COVID-19).

    Julius Berger similarly, earned another strategic prize from the British-American Institute for Good Governance, Genuine Leadership, and Innovative Businesses. The highlyrated Institute prized Julius Berger with its award as “The Most Valuable Representative of Infrastructural Development in Nigeria 2020”.
