    NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone– Cheaitou Brothers have founded Liberia’s first mayonnaise factory – the Blue Lake Mayonnaise. It’s placed on the Freeport Road in Monrovia. The Chief Executive Officer of Blue Lake Manufacturing Incorporated, Houssein Cheaitou, asserted that he was motivated to render a variation in the employment sector by yielding excellence
    mayonnaise that robes the appreciations of the consumers.

    Cheaitou expanded that the contemporary brand of mayonnaise, which is now usable in the Liberian market, will not only relate an adequately alternative but will likewise aid to lessen the importation of such products from abroad. A deduction in imports would assist to improve Liberia’s Gross Domestic Product.

    He said, the disposition of mayonnaise given in the Liberian market was either too salty, oily, acidic, or sour, provoking consumers comprising diabetics, to abstain from eating the product.

    Liberia’s First Lady, Madam Clar Marie Weah, slice the ribbon for the institution of Liberia’s first mayonnaise factory, Blue Lake Manufacturing Incorporated. The grand opening ceremony enticed dozens of dignitaries, including diplomats, bankers, and business executives, amongst others.

    The First Lady commended the Cheaitou brothers for founding Liberia’s first mayonnaise factory, the Blue Lake Mayonnaise, characterizing the undertaking as a crucial development to the nationwide economy.

    “Several years ago, the CEO of the Blue Lake mayonnaise factory approached me explaining his intent to open a factory here in Liberia. Among the many things he said, what got my attention was the fact that the company would provide jobs for Liberians who are unemployed, which will obviously reduce the unemployment ratio in Liberia,” Madam Weah let out.

    She expressed her emotion that the brand name, “Blue Lake,” was proposed by her due to her love for the Blue Lake in Bomi County. She added that the name Blue Lake Mayonnaise will attract more Liberians to buy the locally made mayonnaise.

    Similarly speaking, the Acting Chair of the Cabinet and Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Honorable George Wesseh Blamoh, conveyed appreciation on behalf of the President and the people of Liberia for the belief to trust and invest in the economy of Liberia under the leadership of President George Manneh Weah.

    And that, it is now time for Liberia to proceed from the aged days of receiving goods to building more industries for local production. He called on other well-meaning companies to follow the Cheaitou brothers by capitalizing and opening more factories in Liberia. He pointed up that, the economy has tremendous investment capability.
