NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone– A Tanzanian miner and father of thirty children, that came to be an overnight millionaire by excavating enormous gems worth £2.4million has found and sold another chunk worth £1.5million. Saniniu Laizer rendered the sale at a trading exhibition heeded by hundreds after excavating the 6.3kg Tanzanite rock.
In excursus, it ensues the small-scale miner, discovering two other pieces of the gem in July 2020 in one of the Tanzanite mines in the North of the country, which are encircled by a wall to regulate cross-border smuggling of the precious mineral.
