AfDB has Re-affirmed its Ventures to Enhance the Power of Education and Skills Development for Financial Advancement and social progress in African the Continent

NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone- Dr. Akinwumi Adesina -the Bank’s President asserted when retinue of the Board of Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM) visited him in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to discuss upskilling of African youths for the continent’s development.
Adesina raised the alignment of NUTM’s bold vision with AfDB’s mission of navigating the region’s economic transformation through initiatives that empower African youths.
Responding, NUTM board member, Dr. Omobola Johnson, stated the institution is working towards building a strong brand that will resonate globally and produce technology leaders like the Indian Institute of Technology.
Another member, Demola Adeyemi-Bero, stresses on the institution’s strong industry focus, integrating town and…to handle real-world challenges across various sectors.
NUTM President, Dr. Babs Omotowa, shared the impact the university’s alumni are making as entrepreneurs and change makers. The meeting explored collaborative chances between NUTM and AfDB through its programmes.
Both institutions showed their preparedness to work together to address skills gaps, promote entrepreneurship and create financial chances for Africa’s youth population.
