$196.43 Million ratified by the AfDB as a Loan for the Implementation of Namibia’s 2nd Phase of its Transport Infrastructure Improvement Project

NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone- The AfDB let out in a declaration that the loan describes 51.8% of the project’s aggregate cost, while the Namibian government, the Namibian Administration will provide the 48.2%.

The project incorporates constructing 207 km of new rail track near the existing line between Kranzberg and Otjiwarongo, utilizing concrete railway sleepers and new rails statement revealed. It let out the works comprise the construction of 16 bridges, the renovation of two stations, and procuring 55,000 rails to build 518 km of track.
