$175 Million Ventures to be Subsidized in Kenya by Coca-Cola Beverages over the Next Five Years

NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone- The Coca-Cola Company and it’s accepted bottler Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, disclosed its schedules to advance its ventures in Kenya over $175 million during the following five years.
“The Coca-Cola system has been an integral part of Kenya’s landscape for more than 75 years. Today, we are excited to announce our intention to strengthen this legacy through a substantial investment,” Sunil Gupta – CEO of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa stated on 22 May 2024, while hosting Kenyan President William Ruto at The Coca-Cola Company’s headquarters in Atlanta- Georgia USA. “This investment is aimed at accelerating the Coca-Cola system’s capacity and capability expansion over the next five years. Our decision to invest underscores our belief in the long-term potential of Kenya’s economy.”
Coca-Cola is a great employer in East Africa, where it employs about 10,000 people directly. It same, works with over 500,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises across the region.
The beverage stated, it envisages enormous social and economic growth in Kenya, and that is the reason, it wants to continue to invest in its Kenyan business equally, as its community programmes in Kenya.
