    The Central Bank of Angola (BNA) schedules to improve money Transfer Services by Cell Phone in 2021 to curtail People in Commercial Banks and ATM

    NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone- Talking to the press after the induction of the new BNA Director in Eastern Moxico area , the BNA manager for the Regional Delegations, Tavares Cristóvão, stated that the service, which is in the study phase, will count on the participation of the mobile phone companies ( Unitel and Movicel).

    Without stipulating the technical functionality of the service, he clarified that the implementation of this system is anticipated to carry out monetary movements in any region of the country, to break off the crowds in banking facilities and therefore, contribute to enhancing the provision of services by these commercial institutions.

    The new BNA Regional Director , Francisco Canvula Manuel, that superseded , José  Baptista in the position, said that he will begin again the projects schemed by his institution, that of expanding the quality and circulation of banknotes, particularly those of low bill notes as well as how to bolster the connection with commercial banks.

    Moxico Governor, Gonçalves Muandumba, on the occasion, complimented the new BNA Manager and the expectation to carry out this monetary service, strived to considerably assist people in the regions of the country, where there are no bank branches.

    Speaking to the press after the inauguration of the new BNA director in eastern Moxico province, the BNA administrator for the Regional Delegations, Tavares Cristóvão, said that the service, which is in the study phase, will count on the participation of the mobile phone companies ( Unitel and Movicel).
