In Nigeria, State of Niger in alliance with Partners has taken Delivery of Agrarian Equipment to Scale up Agricultural Production in a bid to Stabilize Food Security

NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone- Chief Press Secretary to the Governor – Bologi Ibrahim, remarked that, Origin Group, utilizing its proprietary themed support system called Total Agricultural Support Program (TASP) in partnership with Campo Company of Brazil is engaging in a specialized agro support program with the Niger State Government.
The equipment received comprises of 500 large capacity tractors,500 Harvesters of varying capacities and 1000 diverse Agrarian and Irrigation equipment and farm implements.
The program which is equally focused at supporting 50,000 hectares fully irrigated grub production hubs in Niger State will enhance the State to scale up its demand to deepen food production, wealth creation, and employment chances for the teeming population of the State.
“The landmark initiative when fully implemented will eradicate drudgery including 50% postharvest and revenue losses by farmers.
“Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago led administration has ventured to the Agricultural revolution of the State and his desire to make Niger State an Agricultural hub of Niger.”
