Easy Solar Sierra Leone climaxes as one of Africa’s ten fastest-growing companies in 2023 Financial Times disclosed

NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone– Established in 2016 by a triad of foreign citizens in Sierra Leone, to make accessible solar energy distribution to homes and offices in the country.

In Sierra Leone, there is 23% of the nation’s population that has access to electricity, this infrastructural ravine is affecting people’s interest and aptitude to access services, and it is moreover harshly hindering on competitiveness, job creation and poverty reduction.

Easy Solar gives products involving solar lamps, home lighting systems, appliances, and cooking stoves at affordable financing plans.

In six years of undertaking, they have thrived enormously. Over 720,000 consumers nationwide, 130kWp nestled solar energy, and over 500 clean energy jobs augmented the economy. They were bestowed the World Economic Forum (WEF) Schwab Foundation “Outstanding Social Entrepreneur of the Year “Award in 2019.

The enterprise scale by Financial Times showcases corporations in sectors like Fintech, Renewable energy, Healthcare, Commodities, and agribusiness blowing the expectation to develop their industries while much of the world, closes off.
