Angola to host between June 25th and 26th for the First Time an International Cassava Congress in the Northern Malanje Province

NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS (NABN) Freetown, Sierra Leone- It would be a spectacular moment, that will attract farming entrepreneurs, farmers, international organizations and characters associated to the academic world.
According to a press release sent to ANGOP on June 21st, 2021the seminar strives to expand the understanding of the significance of cassava, encourage its mechanization and commercialization, as a universal product that is widely consumed in human food, animal feed, and industrial use.
In particular terms, the event wishes to structure the legal circumstance of introducing up to 30% of cassava flour as an integral part of the raw material in the production of bread and other by-products, as well as entrusting peasant families, increasing their income, mitigating the rates populations’ poverty and make cassava a more present product in the diet of our families.
The 1st International Cassava Congress exemplifies an exceptionally significant symposium for globally relating the main tracts with the enormous national production of cassava, financing opportunities for its value chain, ways for agro-industrialization and commercialization of this tuber.
