Phumza Dyani Ordained by the Pan African Chamber of Commerce as Chief Innovation Officer and Administrator for the Africa Innovation Centre

NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS ( NABN ) Freetown, Sierra Leone- The Pan African Chamber of Commerce, on April 17th, 2020 endorsed the job of Phumza Dyani as Chief Innovation Officer and supervisor for the Africa Innovation Centre.
Presently, the Chief Marketing & Sales Officer for Broadband Infraco – Dyani will inhale and exhale part of the digital thrift and digital inclusion council which pursues to fetch together innovators, leading scholars and thespians from industry, Government, Academia and Non-Governmental Organizations, to educate African Governments through the African Union (AU) and more provincial economic districts on how to triumph over their goals to create the digital economy and eradicate digital ridges.
Being a Chief Innovation Officer for the Pan African Chamber of Commerce, Phumza will amongst various key responsibilities head and oversee the panel and shall designate a vice-chair and a secretary.

Phumza is an experienced executive with enormous knowledge traversing across blue-chip companies in Financial and Professional Services (FMCG), accompanied by over 15 years spent in the ICT industry, working for Telecoms companies, including Vodacom and MTN,” noted Johnny Muteba – Chief Executive Officer for the Pan African Chamber.
“She brings to the organization spectrum of business technology that will be helpful to the organization and its stakeholders.”
Phumza Dyani was earlier the Managing Executive for Vodacom Business and was credible for strategy, revenue retention, and growth for the Public Enterprise. Whilst her organization knowledge was in Finance, Dyani later found her passion for sales, driving sales growth and obtainment policies in both private and public sector sales. She has built friendships across the industries and has an absolute passion for sales.
“I glance forward to taking on the responsibility at particularly an exciting time where the landmass is on an industrial modification voyage. I think that Africa is define to be at the vanguard of world innovation” noted Dyani.
“We have the unique Third World countries’ problems which require the resourcefulness of our people. Our people are resourceful, we need to cultivate that and build it at scale through exposure to the world.
“I am cognizant of a multitude of innovations in South Africa and Africa at large. We wish to endorse these with funding, safety of IP and commercialization capacities which will furnish them with access to markets”
Dyani graduated with a Bcom (Acc) degree, followed by a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2009 and plethora of other credential. She is a serious bookworm and a Thought Leadership speaker on Telecoms Industry issues, as well as an Advocate for the inclusion of Women in the STEM. Also a member of the Civil Society in the STI (Science, Technology and
Innovation) Working Group and presently a player in the South African Digital Economy Masterplan Group.
