NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS, Banjul, The Gambia- Senegal loose the African Nations cup championship finals to the crown winner of the competition Algeria in 79 seconds of the opening match by the Algerian striker –BAGHDAD BOUNEDJAH with a shot which took a deflection off the Senegalese defense and went straight to the SENEGAL goal keeper- ALFRED GOMEZ and entered the net making it as one of the fastest goal in the African nations cup in 39 years.
ALGERIA has been crown as the African football champion in 2019 beating SENEGAL 1-0 at the CAIRO NATIONAL SPORTS STADIUM witnessed by their two Head of State of the two countries.
Algeria won the competition after 90 minutes tough encounter with Senegal by making use of their first opportunity and preserved the goal to maintain their victory despite confronted with series of threats from Senegal.
However, Senegal were awarded a penalty as a punitive measure against Algerian for a hand ball hit the hand of one of the Algerian players in the second half of the game.
