    Man Constructing Bridge For Free- The Gambia

    NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS, Banjul, The Gambia- Son of Kafuta Village in the interior of the Gambia by the name of SALIFU JANKO remarkably contributed from his personal effort and give back to his community by constructing 80 meter long bridge to ease farmers and businesses crossing the  river to their farms and businesses, prone to crocodile attacks.

    SALIFU began such an ambitious project single handedly and financed all by himself despite economic hardship. As he believes it will create a positive impact to the community and improve the lives of both men and women farmers and businesses, in the area.

    However, such a concept came to reality when he realized the challenges his community confronted with in KAFUTA VILLAGE crossing the river most especially during the rainy season with the river full of wild crocodiles. He took the task all upon him and implements the project with no expectations but to ease the traffic in crossing the river and give back to the community, he love.

    The whole village of KAFUTA and its environs expressed gratitude for such a philanthropic job and regarded SALIFU JANKO as true son of the GAMBIA and the whole community of KUFUTA

    Meanwhile, the said project is in progress to be completed soon before the beginning of rainy season.
