NEW AFRICA BUSINESS NEWS, Denver, Colorado- The 62 year old British Prime Minister, Theresa May announced Friday that, She will resign as British Prime Minister in a tearful and emotional appearance outside the Prime Minister’s official residence. It was carried on nationwide television. She said, She will step down as Conservative Party Leader on June 7th and Prime Minister when a replacement is chosen by Her Party Members. She continued, the honor of her life to serve as second British female Prime Minister and enduring gratitude to have had the opportunity to serve Britain, that She love.
She listed a series of what, She said were Her Conservative government’s achievements, including reducing unemployment, tackling deficit and increasing funding for mental health. Clearing the path for a new Prime Minister.
Boris Johnson, the former Foreign Secretary, former London Mayor, and Spectator Editor, is the front runner to replace Prime Minister May, as the new Prime Minister. At an economic conference in Switzerland on Friday, Johnson said Britain should be prepared to leave the European Union, deal or no deal, October 31st. The job of our next Leader has to be getting the United Kingdom properly out of the European Union.
