Today in celebrity music collaborations you’ve been secretly dreaming of (but never thought would happen), Coldplay announced that Beyoncé will appear on their next album.
The band is set to release their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, in December, and just released a sneak peek at the track list—where Bey’s sainted name appears.
It’s unclear what song Beyoncé will lend her vocal prowess to, but the collaboration isn’t a huge shock considering that she and Jay Z are huge Coldplay fans, and were close friends with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow before they consciously uncoupled themselves.
No word on how Paltrow feels about this musical hookup, but she’s probably reacting to the news with max chill considering that Chris Martin remains her friend.
