Liverpool are still looking at signing £21.7million Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette despite Christian Benteke’s arrival, according to reports.
The Reds secured the services of Benteke last week, with the Belgian joining Danny Ings in arriving this summer to bolster Liverpool’s attacking options.
But with Rickie Lambert, Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini now all set to leave, French publication L’Equipe says Liverpool are looking for more striking options, with Lacazette a major target.
Arsenal and Manchester United are also keen, and while Lacazette insists he wants to stay, Liverpool are keen to seal a £21.7m deal to bring him to Anfield.
