Controversy? What controversy?
The 26-year-old singer was spotted sporting a sexy two-piece swimsuit Monday while hitting the beach with friends. Bikini-clad Ri-Ri looked happy while showing off lots of skin and cleavage aboard a boat. The “Diamonds” crooner also had plenty of aquatic toys in tow, including a snorkeling mask and some noodle floaties, while playing in the water. Looks like fun!
“CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, Fuck you! Y’all are sad for penalizing me for this. The audacity…” she wrote on Twitter just hours ago. Yikes!
Ri-Ri’s Roc Nation team followed up on the drama by telling E! News in a statement, “Due to the misuse and misrepresentation of Rihanna’s name and participation in connection to CBS’ TNF, CBS was not allowed to license and utilize the song ‘Run This Town.’ Roc Nation made the decision to not grant the song’s usage.”
CBS Sports responded to Rihanna’s diss with their own statement. “Beginning this Thursday, we will be moving in a different direction with some elements of our Thursday Night Football open,” the network said. “We will be using our newly created Thursday Night Football theme music to open our game broadcast.”
