Foreign businesses investors and development partners started leaving some part of Africa, especially in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea. The fear and uncertainty of Ebola started to hoard essential items, and local businesses. Most countries in Africa are losing millions of dollars everyday in business and revenue.
The British Airways and Kenya Air Lines also halted routes to Liberia and Sierra Leone, while Gulf carrier Emirates scrapped flights to Guinea. Korean Air Lines on Aug. 14 canceled flights to Kenya’s capital of Nairobi, a regional hub located thousands of miles away from West Africa.
Liberia has banned public gathering. Many non- essential government workers to stay home.
