All Liberian newspapers on Friday highlighted former president Charles Taylor’s request to serve the rest of his 50 year war crimes sentence in a Rwandan jail. According to the report, Taylor claimed that being detained in a United Kingdom jail denies him the right to a family life.
The report said Charles Taylor has threatened to sue the UK for denying him a family life.

Another story that captured the headlines in the Friday edition of Liberian newspapers is the abandonment by nurses of the Redemption Hospital where a nurse recently died of Ebola.
According to the report, the nurses fear that there could be more deaths among health officials from the Ebola virus.
